Krunker.io can be played without logging into an account. Players that don't login to their account, or loading to Krunker for the first time. will automatically play as a guest. Playing still provides access to most of the core features of the game gameplay-wise, including, but not limited to.:
- Playing the game with minimal gameplay disadvantages when compared to the registered users. You can play as most classes (you will not be able to use Hunter, Vince, Detective, or Bowman) on all the default and custom servers.
- Spectate during matches.
- Hosting custom games up to 6 players.
- The map editor is available, and allows changes to any of your maps. (This is useful because the map editor is currently very Chrome-based, and some core features do not work on the other browsers like Firefox. Hence, if you play the game in some other browser, you can open the editor in Chrome without having to log in again there as well, make all the changes you need, import map, and then export it in your main browser under your main account.)
Negatives of being a guest are:
- Unable to earn KR
- Several features of the Krunker Hub. For example, the Market.
- Can only host 6 player custom games, starting from update v2.3.7. (Accounts can host games with more players)
- Can't level up which means that won't be able to do specific things which involve leveling up such as put billboards or purchase items from the marketplace or even chatting (As of update 2.2.5).
- Can't publish maps nor mods.
- Custom settings will automatically be reset if you play on another browser or client
- Cannot vote kick players in public games
- Update v3.8.9 restricted more classes for guest users (Bowman & Vince) as well as Hunter & Detective as of update v4.1.1.
Accounts
1) You gain levels based on a system of experience (XP). The score you get after a public game determines how much XP is earned from it. (Getting a score of 1,200 points means 1,200 XP is awarded to the player account)
2) Several account statistics such as its kill/death ratio (KDR) is saved and tracked. Find an account's stats by looking at its page on Krunker social, or in profile.
3) You can chat with other players in-game once you are level 5 or higher.
4) You'll earn KR at the end of each match, with the exact amount based on your score. There are other ways to earn KR.
5) The KR can be spent in the Shop to get cosmetics such as skins, hats, and backs.
6) You can buy, sell, and trade cosmetic items on the market once you are above level 20.
7) You can attempt to join clans once you are above level 10. Practically all the worthwhile clans do not allow hackers.
8) Once you have reached level 20, you can create your own clan, as long as its name is 1-4 symbols short, and is not taken already.
9) You can publish your own maps for others to play (maximum of 3000 objects).
10) You can bid KR to put your own message on a billboard once you are level 20.
11) You can follow players, and you can be followed by other players.
12) If you get really good, you can participate in the tournament games. Again, hackers of any form are banned after they are found out.
13) Online status can be seen on your profile.
NOTE: You cannot change the actual name of your account, so think carefully before you create it! But you can change the display name of your account if only and only if you are a Krunker Premium Member.

Partner
Accounts with a purple checkmark. These signify two things.
- The player has created a map that fits within the map partner requirements, which give the partnered player ad revenue for ads that run on their map. When exiting a custom game, a map created by a partnered player will always run an ad.
- The player is a Content Creator and is well-known, so they get partnered perks such as a Krunker referral link: krunker.io/(nameofthecc) and a content creator code that viewers can use to support their favorite creators in the Krunkies shop. Since update #v3.7.5 getting enough map plays allows you to apply for becoming a level 2 partner.
- Level 2 partners also receive a PARTNER checkmark/badge on their profile and next to their ign's while playing.
- Partnered players also receive a Creator Code which gives them 25 % of the revenue collected while a player uses their code.
Krunkitis became a large threat to the Krunker community, spreading across the servers eventually affecting over 1.5 million players. An account tag was introduced, showing the Krunkitis logo.
Krunkitis
Krunkitis is a fictional virus that exists ingame, made to imitate the effects of COVID-19. During the beginning of Season 2, select players were infected with Krunkitis and spread the disease by knifing uninfected players. Players who got the virus would additionally get a tag on their account, similar looking to the verified symbol. During Season 3, the Antidote XVII was introduced and unlocked by completing grueling and challenging parkour on the Soul Sanctum map. Players who own this may eliminate enemies using it and cure them of Krunkitis. During Season 3, the virus tags were then removed from krunker accounts.
Hacker Tagged Accounts
If you are caught using hacks by the in-game anti-cheat, a Moderator, or a Developer, your account will be flagged as a HACKER.
- It is strongly advised that you DO NOT hack: if you do, you are almost certainly going to be discovered by the in-game anti-cheat, and get a HACKER tag, which will be visible to anyone checking your profile on the Krunker Hub.
- After the update 1.9.4 hacker tagged accounts couldn't show up on the leaderboards anymore at all. If any of the hackers reached the Top 100 leaderboards before the update, then their names were written in red, letting others know that they got there illegitimately.
- The image shown at the bottom is an example of a Hacker account.
- Hacker tagged accounts deal 0 damage, rendering any sort of cheats useless. Before update v2.8.0, hacker tagged accounts could deal only 10% of the total damage they would normally deal without hacks.
- The ability to earn KR will be revoked from the account.
- Hacker tagged accounts will also automatically load a hacked mod, which changes all in-game sounds to rather weird sounds, so the users will feel rather bad about using hacks.
- They cannot purchase or sell items in the Marketplace.
- They will not be able to receive or send trades.
- After the Update v3.3.9 Accounts that get hacker tagged would start to get IP Banned.

Note: Hacker tags CAN be appealed if the developers find you not guilty of hacking. You will have to start over with a new account if you are caught for hacking.
Locked Accounts
Accounts may get locked as a result of: boosting, scamming, account sharing, and violating the Krunker terms of service (TOS).
- Locked accounts cannot be logged into
- Attempting to log into a locked account will result in a display message indicating that the account is locked
Note: As well as Hacker tags an account lock CAN be appealed if the developers find you innocent. Otherwise you will never be able to access the locked account.
How to make an account
The Register Button
How to make an account.
Click register in the top right corner, type in a username you want, and then a password you want. Registering doesn't require an email or age, however, it is now optional to link a Krunker account to a Twitch account for Twitch drops (update v2.60) and a Metamask Opensea account for NFTs (update v5.1.3). However, only a username and password are explicitly required.
*NEVER SHARE YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE*
Note: If you are on someone else's computer, sign out before exiting as well as remove the saved password in the browser or they may have access to your account because you stay logged on even if you close it.
Optional Twitch and Metamask Opensea linking.
Also, make sure to choose a secure password that is not too short. Store your password in a safe place.
Trivia
- Guests were originally named unknown but was changed after update v0.8.0.
- The ability to change an account's password was added in update 2.3.1.
- Hacker tags are mostly given when Anti-cheat detects hacks, however, they are also given out by the developers/ingame moderators/KPD. They can also be received if a player performs a negative action but didn't hack.
- Guests cannot see the usernames of accounts ingame, they will show up as Player_1, Player_2, etc.
